Granola is expensive! So tasty, so delicious, but expensive! It doesn’t have to be, it is made up of fairly inexpensive items. And it can’t possibly be because it is difficult to make, because, well, it isn’t! So why pay a fortune, or go without the deliciousness of rich, flavorful, healthy granola, when you don’t have to! Make your own easy peasy homemade granola!
Easy Peasy Granola
- 3 cups Old Fashioned Oats
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans
- 1/2 cup Coconut Oil melted
- 1/2 cup Local Raw Honey
- 1 cup Coconut shredded
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease baking sheet. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl, spread in a thin layer on the baking sheet. Bake 15-30 mins, until very lightly golden brown, stirring once. Time depends on oven. Take out before it looks done, as it easily scorches. Let cool slightly, then remove to a mason jar and store for up to a month on the pantry shelf.
